About me.
Chris was raised on a farm in Saskatchewan and now lives in Southern Alberta, where Border Collies are integral to her personal and professional life. Chris has ranched in both Alberta and Alaska, where she recognized the indispensable role that a well trained Border Collies plays.Chris is an accomplished handler, trainer, and competitor and has been involved with Border Collies for more than twenty five years. She has trialled successfully throughout Canada and the United States. Chris earned the title of Reserve Open Champion at the Hilltop Championship with her reliable dog, CS Lucy, qualifying her to be a part of the team representing Canada at the 2026 World Sheepdog Trial.In addition to her competitive achievements, Chris has hosted numerous herding clinics and trials. Chris’s experience spans sheep, cattle, and using her Border Collies in specialized wildlife applications.
